Why our logo is on a race car

Final lap on the Zolder circuit, over 30 degrees, second place in sight. Then contact with a car from another class. Patrick Neider's BMW ends up in the gravel trap, the front axle is damaged. For many, the weekend would have been over right there.

What happens instead: the Bongiovanni Racing team drives back to Germany the same evening, sources the spare parts and rebuilds the car overnight. On Sunday morning the car passes the function test, in the afternoon Patrick drives the fastest race lap of the day in his class and again brings home second place.

It's precisely because of this story that our logo is on this car.

What a racing team has to do with life phases

No driver wins alone. Behind every lap there's a team that thinks ahead, prepares the setup, stays calm in a crisis and afterwards makes sure things carry on. Before the race, during the race and afterwards.

That's pretty much our definition of support. heyGuide helps companies and public administrations support employees and managers through formative life phases: through parental leave and through caregiving situations. With the right information, reminders and guides at the right time. Because working life, too, has moments that feel like a trip into the gravel trap: the pregnancy announcement in the team meeting, the call that your father has had a stroke, the first day back after 14 months of parental leave. Those who know they have a team behind them get back on track faster and stronger.

Patrick puts it like this: “That's exactly what heyGuide stands for, for me too: not leaving people on their own precisely when a situation gets difficult or unfamiliar. After the contact in the gravel trap, my team looked for a solution together and did everything to get me back on the grid on Sunday. For me that's real partnership, in a company just as much as in motorsport.”

A new name on new terrain

For Patrick, Zolder was completely new territory. First start on the traditional Belgian circuit, extreme heat, a weekend full of unknown variables. For us it was too: Zolder was the first race weekend on which heyGuide appeared as an official partner of Patrick OnTrack on the car and the racing suit. And it was one of our first big appearances under a new name. heyParents became heyGuide in July, because today we support more than parental leave. A new name on a new track – that fits for both of us.

Patrick's path has something we recognised immediately: it runs in phases. From entering the DMV BMW Challenge, through the international racing licence, to the big goal, the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring in 2027. Each phase brings new demands, each needs different support. People on parental leave or with caregiving responsibilities know the principle.

For us, partnership means: shared values

Our collaborations are values partnerships. We work with people who embody what we stand for. Patrick and his team show at every race weekend what good support looks like: preparation, reliability and calm when things get uncomfortable. The fact that our logo flies around a traditional circuit at over 200 km/h makes us, honestly, just a little proud too.

We congratulate Patrick and Bongiovanni Racing on the double podium at Zolder and look forward to the shared road to the Nürburgring.
